Longest run for 2013 in the books!

Marathon plan has been going well. Sunday was the "longest run of the year" at 19K. So far, I (we) have stuck to the schedule despite the absolutely lousy weather this winter: very cold and/or very windy and/or very icy and/or whenever it did warm up - very slushy. So far 7 weeks down, 11 to go. Ideally, I'd like to drop some weight, but I just can't seem to give up the snacking and boozing. The sched has 21K "race" on Sunday (the 17th). Not sure how I'm going to do that one.

It was a few degrees above zero on Saturday, and I got the kids bikes out. Did a nice 600m loop with Laura. ... starting to get anxious for some riding again. I did 6 rides for 231K this time last year during March Break...
