Saturday's Learn to Run class featured a presentation from a "core-fitness" personal coach. I've always assumed "core" workouts would be beneficial to running. Deep down, I kind of thought I must have an ok core. Oh boy, Saturday was somewhat humbling. I was the guinea pig for the on-stage demonstration. Sunday and Monday were sore, sore days!
There's a growing movement about the
Myth of Core Stability - probably propagated by lazy-arses like me who find core workouts too taxing. I'd much rather run for 2 hours than spend 10 minutes doing planks!
