Maybe next year...
I am sitting comfortably at home with my leg up, an I.V. in each arm, and only a mild throb in my foot. While I was in hospital, I wrote many great blog posts in my mind to describe what has happened to me and what I went through. Far too self-righteous. Suffice to say, that I am a) lucky and b) doing fine. It will be a while before I swim, bike or run again. The marathon is definitely cancelled. But, in the meantime, it's comforting to know that I still have both feet and all ten toes. On top of that - a great family who have gone above and beyond to help me through this.

Phil,
There is always another marathon. I am glad to hear that you are ok and have both your feet and ten toes.
Take care yourself :)

Take care Phil ... all my positive energy goes to you ;-)
Recover well...
Du season starts in a scant 10 weeks.
Sorry to hear about your layup...recover strong.
Take care of yourself Phil. Will definitely miss the updates but the important this is that you have a good recovery. God bless.

Glad you're okay.
Hi Phil,
What a very scary time. We were all thinking about you, Guylaine and the kids.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
