Psyching myself up

I'm going to attempt to run fast tomorrow. There's a local event and I will try the 5K.

What's the big deal? For some weird reason, I'd rather run a half marathon at a comfortable pace for nearly two hours, as opposed to have my heart on the edge of explosion for 21 minutes.

20:57.65 is my long-standing personal best at this distance, set nearly 3 years ago.

Last year, I managed: 21:23 and 22:35 for stand-alone times and 22:53 on the tail end of a sprint tri.

21:something would be nice.
