The triathlon training blog of Phil Barnes

It has been a while since I ran outside. (Apart from the recent 5K with the Man, that is). On Saturday, I proclaimed: "I think I'd like to run outside on Sunday". And so it was set.

Sunday morning. Minus 17. Crap. But... off I went. No real plan. It felt great. What the heck - we'll make it a long one. And so it was. 16.3Km. Long for me. The longest in a long time.

It really felt good (apart from bonking at about 14K), it was great to be outside. Great to be alone. Great to be running free. And it was like, Wow! I've gotta do this every week.
