I've not had chance to fully understand the Protein thing yet, but I have found out a few interesting things via this set of links taken from a Dave Scott clinic at

My Recommended Dietary Allowance for protein is approximately: 94 grams.

Between my bowl of Honey-Nut Cheerios and Strawberry Banana Delight protein shake, I got 49 grams with breakfast alone.
